Yoann Bourhis
Modeller – Post-Doctoral Researcher
I earned my PhD in 2016 modelling pest population dynamics and possible counters in terms of agricultural landscape optimisation (INRA, Brittany). I joined Rothamsted Research in 2018, initially working on plant epidemiology, surveillance strategies and monitoring network optimisation. Since 2021 within the DRUID project I’ve developed machine learning approaches to trait-based species distribution modelling. My current focus is the identification of the drivers and trait mediations behind the shifts in insect occupancy across GB.
