I am an ecologist who uses quantitative approaches to understand how populations and communities are responding to environmental change over large spatial scales. More generally, I am working towards designing systems and methods to make ecology more predictive and increase its real-world impact. For the DRUID project, I have been researching how changing insect numbers are impacting higher trophic levels and ecosystem function.
