I am an ecological modeller researching drivers of biodiversity change. I use statistical models to derive trends in species distribution and investigate the impacts of environmental change. My training is in quantitative ecology but during my PhD I applied different statistical, mathematical and simulation techniques to answer interdisciplinary questions on the sustainability of socio-ecological systems, specifically wildlife tourism. I believe science should be transparent and accessible to all and therefore I use open source tools and reproducible workflows (check out my GitHub profile).
